We are grateful for your willingness to serve, support communities, and help create opportunities for people to help one another.
Before becoming an active volunteer, please complete the onboarding steps below. These steps help us protect our volunteers, the people we serve, and the integrity of our mission.
Before You Begin
Humanitarian Heroes is a nonprofit foundation that has applied for tax-exempt nonprofit status. Approval is currently pending.
By continuing through onboarding, you understand that your participation is voluntary and that volunteer involvement does not create employment, compensation, or benefits.
1. Read the Terms and Conditions
Review the rules for using the Humanitarian Heroes website, participating as a volunteer, and understanding our foundation status.
2. Read the Code of Ethics
Review the ethical standards expected of all volunteers, project leaders, sponsors, and representatives.
3. Read the Liability Waiver
Review the assumption of risk, emergency medical authorization, travel responsibility, and release of liability.
4. Review Volunteer Responsibilities
Understand what is expected from volunteers, including respectful conduct, safety, communication, and responsible participation.
5. Complete Emergency Contact & Insurance Information
Provide emergency contact information and any insurance details needed for safety purposes.
6. Submit Volunteer Agreement
Complete the final agreement form with your required checkboxes and typed electronic signature.
After You Submit
Once your agreement has been submitted, your onboarding record will be saved. A Humanitarian Heroes representative may contact you if additional information is needed.
