Humanitarian Heroes Foundation
Last Updated: [June 2, 2026]

1. Our Shared Responsibility

As a volunteer with Humanitarian Heroes Foundation, you are part of a mission built on dignity, compassion, respect, and service.

Volunteers are expected to act responsibly, communicate honestly, follow safety guidance, and represent Humanitarian Heroes in a way that protects the people we serve and the integrity of our foundation.

2. Volunteer Status

Volunteer participation is voluntary.

Volunteers are not employees, contractors, agents, or representatives with authority to legally bind Humanitarian Heroes unless specifically authorized in writing.

Volunteer participation does not create a right to wages, compensation, insurance benefits, employment benefits, or reimbursement unless approved in advance by Humanitarian Heroes.

3. Respectful Conduct

Volunteers must treat all people with dignity and respect, including community members, other volunteers, project leaders, sponsors, staff, and partner organizations.

Volunteers must not engage in harassment, discrimination, intimidation, threats, exploitation, abuse, or disrespectful behavior.

4. Safety and Good Judgment

Volunteers are responsible for using good judgment and avoiding unnecessary risks.

Volunteers agree to follow safety instructions, project guidelines, local laws, and directions from authorized Humanitarian Heroes representatives or project leaders.

If a situation feels unsafe, volunteers should stop, remove themselves from danger if possible, and notify the appropriate contact.

5. Communication

Volunteers should communicate clearly, respectfully, and in a timely manner.

If a volunteer cannot attend, complete a task, respond to a request, or continue participating, they should notify Humanitarian Heroes or the project leader as soon as possible.

6. Honesty and Accurate Information

Volunteers must provide truthful and accurate information during registration, onboarding, project participation, and communication with Humanitarian Heroes.

Volunteers should not misrepresent their identity, qualifications, availability, experience, or authority.

7. Privacy and Confidentiality

Volunteers may learn personal or sensitive information about other volunteers, donors, project leaders, or people receiving assistance.

Volunteers must protect private information and must not share names, contact information, photos, stories, medical details, personal circumstances, or other sensitive information without proper permission.

8. Photos, Videos, and Stories

Volunteers must be respectful when taking or sharing photos, videos, testimonials, or stories.

Volunteers should not post or publish content involving Humanitarian Heroes, project participants, vulnerable individuals, or communities served without permission when consent is required.

9. Use of Donations, Supplies, and Resources

Volunteers must use donations, supplies, equipment, funds, and resources only for approved charitable or humanitarian purposes.

Volunteers may not misuse, take, sell, redirect, or personally benefit from resources intended for Humanitarian Heroes projects or the communities being served.

10. Cultural Respect

Volunteers must respect local customs, traditions, laws, beliefs, and community leadership.

Humanitarian work should be done with humility, cooperation, and compassion. Volunteers should avoid behavior that appears disrespectful, controlling, exploitative, or culturally insensitive.

11. Conflicts of Interest

Volunteers should avoid situations where personal, financial, business, political, or family interests interfere with the mission of Humanitarian Heroes.

Any possible conflict of interest should be disclosed.

12. No Unauthorized Representation

Volunteers may not speak on behalf of Humanitarian Heroes, request donations, make public promises, enter agreements, contact media, or represent the foundation officially unless authorized to do so.

13. Reporting Concerns

Volunteers should report safety concerns, misconduct, abuse, fraud, harassment, discrimination, misuse of resources, or violations of Humanitarian Heroes policies.

Reports may be sent to:

[Insert Volunteer/Ethics Email Address]

Humanitarian Heroes will review reports in good faith and may take appropriate action.

14. Failure to Follow Responsibilities

Failure to follow these responsibilities may result in removal from a project, suspension of volunteer privileges, termination of account access, or referral to appropriate authorities when necessary.

15. Acknowledgment

By continuing as a volunteer, I understand that I am expected to follow these Volunteer Responsibilities, the Terms and Conditions, the Code of Ethics, and any applicable project rules or safety instructions.
