LIABILITY WAIVER AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT

1. Acknowledgment of Voluntary Participation
I understand that my participation with Humanitarian Heroes Foundation is entirely voluntary. I choose to participate of my own free will and understand that I am not an employee, agent, or contractor of Humanitarian Heroes.
2. Assumption of Risk
I understand that humanitarian, charitable, volunteer, educational, fundraising, community service, and outreach activities may involve risks, including but not limited to:

Physical injury

Illness or disease
-
Property damage or loss
-
Travel-related accidents
-
Transportation incidents
-
Weather-related hazards
-
Environmental hazards
-
Exposure to unfamiliar conditions

Actions of third parties
-
Emotional stress
I voluntarily assume all risks, known and unknown, associated with my participation.
3. Medical Responsibility
I understand that Humanitarian Heroes Foundation may not provide medical insurance, health insurance, accident insurance, or workers' compensation coverage for volunteers.
I accept full responsibility for obtaining and maintaining my own insurance coverage.
I am responsible for my own medical expenses arising from participation.
4. Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless Humanitarian Heroes Foundation, its officers, directors, volunteers, project leaders, sponsors, partners, affiliates, and representatives from any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising out of or related to my participation.
This release includes claims based on negligence but does not apply where prohibited by law.
5. Travel and Transportation
If I participate in activities requiring travel, I acknowledge that transportation and travel involve additional risks.
I voluntarily accept those risks and assume responsibility for my travel arrangements unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing.
6. Property Damage or Loss
I understand that Humanitarian Heroes Foundation is not responsible for damage to, loss of, or theft of personal property.
7. Compliance with Rules
I agree to follow:

Applicable laws

Safety instructions
-
Project guidelines
-
The Humanitarian Heroes Code of Ethics

Reasonable directions from authorized project leaders
Failure to comply may result in removal from activities.
8. Emergency Medical Treatment
In the event of an emergency, I authorize emergency medical treatment if I am unable to provide consent.
I understand that Humanitarian Heroes Foundation is not responsible for any costs associated with such treatment.
9. Indemnification
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Humanitarian Heroes Foundation from claims arising from my own actions, omissions, misconduct, or violations of applicable laws.
10. Severability
If any portion of this agreement is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
11. Governing Law
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
12. Electronic Signature Agreement
I understand that typing my name electronically constitutes my legal signature and indicates that I have read, understood, and voluntarily agreed to this Liability Waiver and Assumption of Risk Agreement.
